ValueVision Names Steven D. Goldsmith as Senior Vice President and General Merchandising Manager
Joins ValueVision's ShopNBC Home Shopping Channel From the Bon Ton Stores


ValueVision International, Inc. (Nasdaq: VVTV - news), a national home shopping network, today announced the appointment of Steven D. Goldsmith as senior vice president and general merchandising manager. For the past four years, Mr. Goldsmith has been senior vice president and general merchandising manager of The Bon Ton Stores, Inc., based in York, Pa. He will report to Steve Jackel, ValueVision's president of TV operations.

As senior vice president and general merchandising manager of The Bon Ton Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq: BONT - news), a leading operator of 73 quality fashion department stores in the U.S., Mr. Goldsmith was responsible for ready-to-wear, women's accessories, jewelry, footwear, and intimate apparel. Prior to joining The Bon Ton Stores in 1997, he worked for Foley's, Filene's Department Stores, and Lord & Taylor-all divisions of May Company.
