Kelly Services Announces Sale of 31 Branch Offices in England to The Interaction Group

LONDON -- (Marketwire) -- 03/13/2009 -- Kelly Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: KELYA), (NASDAQ: KELYB) announced today the sale of 31 commercial staffing branches in England to Hexagon Staffing Solutions Limited trading as Interaction Recruitment (collectively referred to as "The Interaction Group"). Terms were not disclosed. To assure a smooth transition, Kelly will continue to provide certain administrative services to affected branches during a period mutually agreed by Kelly and The Interaction Group.

The Interaction Group was founded in 1986 and currently operates nine branches in the Northern Home Counties region. They specialise in providing office support and industrial staff on a temporary and permanent basis. The company also provides labour recruitment services in the driving, legal, technical, financial, human resources and technology sectors.

The transaction occurs as part of a reorganisation of its UK operations previously announced by Kelly. "The sale of these commercial branches means our employees associated with them will have the opportunity to continue their employment with The Interaction Group," said Tracy Ellison, Kelly country manager. "It is a positive outcome for our customers and employees alike."
